We have heard time and time again that the breath is a vital key to longevity, health and happiness but why? As we change our breathing patterns to ones of deeper, longer and slower breathes that we consciously watch we are able to associate with knew and improved thought patterns and belief's instead of our old negative programming. Try taking 30 deep, long breaths a day and see if you see a subtle shift. Breathing can be a divine key to liberation. The ancient yogi's were well aware of these techniques as Kundalini yoga and other types of yoga teach us this. As we breathe longer, slower and deeper more often our life brings us new and healthy patterns of living. As we bring more clean air into the lungs we also bring health to our colon as these two areas of the body are directly related. If we have congestion in our colon it is more than likely that we have congestion in our lungs. Our body thrives as we take a deep breath of air. Our cells begin to detoxify and oxygenate giving us more vitality. Mastering our breath allows us to live a more peaceful and harmonious life.
